Top-10 Results for Guillem Farres and Camden Mclellan at MXGP of France

Monster Energy Triumph Factory Racing’s Guillem Farres and Camden McLellan have both battled through a tough MXGP of France to finish inside the top 10 overall. Racing at the legendary hillside circuit of Ernee in the northwest of the country, Farres fared best in ninth, with McLellan placing 10th.
After a weekend off, the riders returned recharged for the MXGP of France, where overnight rain and clear skies combined to deliver near-ideal track conditions.
In Saturday’s qualifying race, Farres endured a heavy crash on lap two that ended his charge early, but the Spaniard fortunately escaped injury. Despite feeling battered and bruised, he lined up on Sunday and delivered a gritty performance to secure 10th in the opening moto.
Feeling confident aboard his TF 250-X, Guillem certainly impressed in the second moto around the technical race track. Starting from sixth, and with the circuit becoming increasingly difficult to pass on, he maintained his position throughout the moto to match his season-best race result. On the day, Guillem secured ninth overall and in doing so, moves up to 15th in the MX2 World Championship standings.
McLellan has continued to deliver strong results this season, and his performance at the MXGP of France was no different. A race-long charge from 11th on the opening lap of the first race resulted in a strong seventh place finish. The second moto unfolded in a similar way for Camden. From 13th early on, and with the track offering very few passing opportunities, the South African managed to climb to 11th by the end of the race despite his best efforts.
Monster Energy Triumph Factory Racing now heads to the MXGP of Germany, which takes place next weekend in Teutschenthal, with the event marking the halfway point of the 2025 campaign.
Camden McLellan
“A tough weekend for me. Saturday was a bit of a struggle and couldn’t put a full lap in during time practice. A crash in the qualifying race made things difficult too. I turned it around today with my riding, but I just didn’t get good starts, which were important on this track. The positives are that my speed is good, I just need better starts.”
Guillem Farres
“I’ve always liked the track in Ernee, and this year it was good, nice and technical, and the rain Sunday morning made it perfect for the races. After my crash on Saturday, I had last gate pick today, but I was able to make the best of it and get some good starts. Ninth overall after what happened yesterday is OK and it’s a result to build from as we head to Germany next weekend.”
Vincent Bereni – Monster Energy Triumph Factory Racing Team Manager
“Saturday was difficult for the team with both riders crashing, and Guillem's was a really big one. Thankfully, he was OK, and he could line up for the Grand Prix races today. They turned things around today and rode well, and I wasn’t expecting them to be in the top 10 overall. Guillem did a great job from the outside gate in both races, and Camden fought hard for every position. So, it’s been a challenging weekend with a positive outcome, and now we travel to Germany for round 10.”
